My name is Amy Benitez, I have been a certified librarian for 6 years at Marcia R. Garza Elementary. I want every student at MRG to become life long readers. 

At our library you will:

• Find the right book with the help of a certified librarian
• Learn how to access ebooks and instructional resources 
• Attend weekly classes
• Learn to embrace technology

 
LIBRARY HOURS & LITERACY NIGHTS: 

Monday - Friday 7:40 am - 3:45 pm (students only)

Family Literacy Nights - announced when scheduled 

TAKE OUR READING CHALLENGE:

Our students at MRG are challenged to meet their grade level's 6 weeks AR goal, as well as their yearly word goal. Our student's are rewarded every 6 weeks for meeting their goal. The King and Queen of AR words for every class is recognized and rewarded per six weeks with a prize.
