PSJA Early College High School’s Vinny Cano Signs with Texas A&M International

SAN JUAN, TX– PSJA Early College High School (ECHS) senior Vinny Cano signed a National Letter of Intent to play at the collegiate level for Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) during a special signing ceremony. This significant milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Cano’s athletic and academic career. 
 
Cano’s commitment to excellence has earned him numerous accolades including Pitcher of the Year, Most Valuable Player, and First Team All-State Designated Hitter. 
 
“We are incredibly proud of Vinny and all that he has accomplished during his time at PSJA ECHS,” said Head Baseball Coach Marco Guajardo. “His hard work and determination have paid off, and we are excited to see him continue his baseball career at the collegiate level with Texas A&M International.” 
 
While at TAMIU, Cano plans to pursue a Bachelor Degree of Science in Biology to follow his dreams of one day becoming a Physical Therapist.
